Day 1 - Xavient Information Systems

My first day in Xavient was rather gone in waiting and Confusion, Rather being the first day , suprisingly I was only 15 minutes late, And to my Bad-luck mine Project Manager was missing , So i did what i do best , Day Dreaming the Next two hours.( Damn I should have Brought along my camera).

Then he arrived and Apolozied ( Yeah he seems to be a good person), and told me to go with my lunch , untill he get my system ready.

Lunch hmm, But from where this office is damn away frm main city and i couldn`t find agood dhaba, Then a programmer (i make friends easily ;) Amit told me he have the recreation centre and cafetaeria downstairs where i could take Lunch , And there came my stupid question " How much it cost", he laughs and said " it`s Free". ( who says there is no free lunch , he he ).

So here i am having some very good cooked food after so many days away form home. Really i should have patted the Cook .Food was really good.

Now came the Show Time, The PM handed me to System Admin, who guided me to my cabin
,And then everyone heard a soft scream, Windows, :(, I asked "I thought i was going to work on Linux based PC`s " , And then came the Excuse " it will provided you by your team leader, Wait untill you get alotted in a Team ", Grrr

And After configuring Outlook for my Intranet Mail, Came the HR mail , you will be Given Team tommorrow , For today I am sending you the Company Policies STUDY, Which i gone through in a second , he he.

And the rest whole day spent by studying the Ubunntu WIki, It has some great Information DO check it out .
