Just returning from watching GURU, Man this movie is a must must go for any rebel in the country (yes i think me as a rebel).
Along with it the ManiRatnam`s made meenu love with gurubhai looks so pure and the resultant Jealous in his husband (madhvan), That is something i have seen in Indian Cinema after a long long time.
The message is clear you want things to change , you have to step ahead and change the things and be sure people will be there to pull your legs.
All in all a definitely goer....
And haan A very happy New Year to all, This year No resolutions, Because this year is mine and i don`t want to Ruin the party.

Shabdanjali the Hindi Dictionary
I saw the Shabadanjali Dictionary while working with Shashi Palekar ji on her Paper on MultiLigual Dictionaries. But it was ISCII based and requires a plugin to display the characters which is never a good idea. Unicode rocks and should be a standard application.
While surfing i found shabdkosh.com and the Unicode version of shabdanjali for windows, which can be easily implemented with Linux.
For Installing the dictionary just Use
#sudo apt-get install stardict
and extract the files in /usr/share/stardict/dic.

Online post
We've all seen the grand poker contests on American television showing entrants winning lots of cash, but how do these mates learn to play in the first place. Well, I learned to play online poker.
I found this insane poker room providing an online interactive class that takes you through a game of Texas Hold'em just like you were playing for real. This game holds 10 players and the action is speedy and incredible. Just like the real online game of poker you play against other folks. The graphics are clear and anything and everything is laid out for you.
For the real amateurs, this site, which calls itself "The World's Largest Poker Room," provides hints on Basic Poker Rules, descriptions of the distinct Poker Games, Betting Rules, and a glossary of all the poker terms.
Need more support? They pass on gratis training with a poker trainer. It's the one place every online poker neophyte should start.
Oh, and I discovered why they are the world's largest - each week they have more than 100,000 poker competitions and pay out lots of money.
Want to play in a different tongue? They offer online poker in these languages: Danish, German, Spanish, French, Norse, Portuguese and many others.

RSS reader@PHP
My one of the friends wanted me to Implement a Web based (non- database driven ) RS feeder , Ultimately the Php rss parser magpie came to my mind. I have heard about it but never got chance to get my hands dirty on it.
So here i was downloading and Configuring Magpie on my site , This Turned out to be pretty simple and nice tool. Just including the rss_fetch.inc adn using function fetch_rss($url), And bino here your Rss reader ready , Lame isn`t it.
fiddled for some time to dispaly multiple feeds , But it ends up more lame , I was implementing the logic in the same Loop , Just break the loop into two and remove the require_once directive and replace it with include and bingo the feed reaeder is ready.
Here are the two fav feeds i checked http://planet-india.randomink.org/rss20.xml
http://feeds.feedburner.com/RockyBlog.
Thus at the end here is a simple and a dirty web based reeder , Yawn it was fun :)

Finally the Rock has come back to the Virtual World... , It`s nearly two months since I Toasted my Mobo and CPU , The Fault was in CPU which Burned my mobo again and Died in the War itself.
Now i have switched to A Intel Solution , Celeron D 2.8 . And It seems it score much better than my AMD Athlon Xp 2400+ , Unfortunately i also got into the Fakeraid Bug of Ubuntu so have to manually Install the dmraid and Hence Edgy.
But right now Gentoo is On, And i am loving my Old Lost friend :)
Update: Who are Trapped in The SATA RAID bug can look out at http://www.ubuntu-in.org/wiki/SATA_RAID_Howto, or use FC^ or Gentoo they both are having Dmraid and Hence doesn`t pose problem

Engineers here Engineers there Engineers Everywhere
Engineers at Hmm Nothing
When i see around myself there are two types of People
1. Engineers
2. Non-Engineers
My Neighbourhood uncle guy, the Boy who plays cricket with me , The Bomb of our colony , all are enrolled in an Engineering college, And they are Engineers ( At the last year they Ultimately become software Engineers),:)
Engineer Meant to Innovate things, Not to wear suits and sign a 24X7X365 contract collecting and Manipulating data , Man this all is going Insane , In no direction.
Now i regret why i have joined Engineering , It would be much better if i would have done a BCA , at least i would have all time for my work and Would be near my home .
Hope to turn things better..........(Guess What i am in My final year , and i Declare there is no meaning in today education system )

Why Google is Loosing a Future War ?
I always have a fake faith in Google about their commitment to Open Source, They are committed to OSS , But they also don`t care .....
What do i mean by they don`t care, There Launch of Google Earth and Picasa on Linux using wine emulator shows the Enough commitment they have given while developing the basic code of Google Earth and Picasa.
I was really thrilled to have Picasa on Linux, but it has came out to be Complete Looser, While Picasa on Windows is really fast enough to be used as a Day to Day application , Picasa on Linux Hog your memory and I don`t relish the idea of Emulating Software's and Cheating them :)
That`s Official there code is not portable , What you gonna Do , When Tuxmania Runs Over you ?

Just noticed a new small Widget on My dashboard announcing the much awaited Blogger Beta Announcement , Finally i also got the Invitation from Google God( Why i always be the Last person, :D).

Here`s the Best Read about Why Blogger Beta is Cool

Blogger API Update
Alongside yesterday's Blogger Beta launch comes some great news for Blogger API developers — Blogger now has a Google Data API! This means:
* There's lots of great sample code in the Blogger/GData doc
* Downloadable Client Libraries are provided for both C# and Java developers
* Authentication is fully documented for both Installed Applications and Web Apps
* Your GData code should be easily reusable across other GData API apps, such as Calendar

One_Night_@_Call_Center
I Spent my past three days in Reading this Amazing book, It really make me feel better, From what i really don`t know , But one thing is sure it did !.
It has the same Message that was given by Steve Jobs
" You gotta find the work that you love",

The Conversation from God and the Afterthoughts were too good. God is real cool. He doesn`t ask them to be nice, or be polite to elders or pray or some such shit. This God simply asks them what they want and then tells them to do what they want. This becomes a turning point in their lives.
They survive and how they survive! They become more alive after coming face to face with death.
It was funny as Jobs talked a lot about his meeting to death. And it changed a lot in him.Looks like...
Looking forward to read the Book FIve Point Someone...

2 weeks in Xavient
It`s been two weeks since i joined Xavient ,but amazingly Daily 3 hours Journey to and Fro to office hasn`t affected even a inch to me. Rather i am Enjoying it,

I have learned so much here and amazingly by myself only. I completed Java Core in these two weeks and Right now working on Swing, Big time.
Made some Very good friends, to name Bharat, Shiv , Amit, Mustu, Shilpa...
I would again like to Point out , Yaar the Working Atmosphere and Food is really Good, The People are very much helpful here(atleast to me), And getting Linux Installed on my PC doesn`t seems to me a very Big Problem as it would have been in any Organization.
Btw my Mentor name is Mr. Roop Kishore , he got a real good knowledge and Experience, Hope to learn a Lot of things here in next 4 weeks.

HindiManiac
I have a full nothing to do Saturday tomorrow, Because of some Confusion in my college management, They fired the Main lab admin and Yet no one new haven`t taken his place. So couldn`t work on College Internal server this Saturday.
So what to do ?, Due to Xavient i am too much endrosed in Java and Couldn`t really make a mood to learn something new in Python.
Then there came a Pending Work , Install Hindi and Get Scim working , I was supposed to do this Long before,But u know....;)
Amazingly the whole process just took 2 minutes , last time in Breezy when i Setup the SCIM it was a real Pain . But Dapper had improved a lot in this Area,
For installing i just Selected the Hindi in Language tools and Voila all is Setup, :)
Just fire the Gedit , select the Input method as SCIM and select hindi (phonetic or inscript) and Here u go .......(would be writing a complete Howto soon)
Now i do the Next good thing that can be done , Fired the Launchpad site, login into my account , Selected Hindi as preferred language and Started Translating , No idea how many Strings i have translated , But it was fun.

Would like to point out this great site ShabdKosh a online English -Hindi Dictionary, Helped a Lot During the Translation....
Hope to add more things in Translation in near future , Would love to work in mainstream as i am not very sure that these translations are being updated over the main repository or not.

Barely. 91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things.
